Strathclyde Drainage operate a 24/7 emergency blocked drains call-out service.

When called out to a drainage job our engineer will assess the problem and decide upon the most effective method of clearance. He will discuss the problem with you and advise you on how he intends to clear it.

We have various methods of clearance at our disposal:

For small bore internal pipe work, toilet pans, kitchen wastes etc we use a number of different tools including plungers, mechanical augers, kinetic rams and mini high pressure jetting.

For external wastes we employ a variety of equipment including drain rods, high pressure water jetting, hydraulic root cutters, gully grabs etc.

Our engineers are fully certified in high pressure jetting techniques, which is especially important in older drainage systems where clay pipe can easily be damaged by improper application of this method.

We clear 95% of blockages on our first visit, without the need for any further work.

For your peace of mind we aim to attend all blocked drains within the hour.
